Patch Testing

To ensure your safety and best results for your colour service, a patch test is required at least 48 hours before your appointment

I’ve made it easy for you to complete this test from home with the patch test kit provided to you in the post

What’s included in your Kit

  • 1x Sample 1: Oxidant

  • 1x Sample 2: Colour

  • 1x Applicator (for mixing and application)

  • 1x Hypoallergenic Plaster

Instructions

  • You’ve received your kit Open your patch test kit and remove all the items 

  • Prepare the area
    Choose a clean, dry spot behind your ear or inside your elbow. Wash the area gently with soap and water, then pat dry

  • Mix the samples
     Using the pipette, add Sample 1 into Sample 2. Mix thoroughly with the applicator

  • Apply the test
    Using the applicator, dab a small amount of the mixture on your chosen spot. Let it dry for 1 minute

  • Cover (optional)
     You may cover the area with the hypoallergenic plaster

  • Wait 48 hours
    Do not wash or disturb the patch. Monitor the area for any reactions such as redness, itching, or swelling. Mild irritation can be normal, but if you experience significant discomfort, rash, or blistering, wash the area immediately with mild soap and water and contact me right away.
